The fact that this is still progressing shows that there are deep problems over at WordPress HQ.

Why not consider listening to the overwhelmingly negative reviews of your user base and pulling this asap?

I have built my business around WP for over ten years, and now I can only see the WP team heading in a foolish direction that cannot easily be fixed.

You will create a product where too many devs have invested in Gutenberg to retreat, and a huge majority who hate it.

How can you think that enforcing a second rate page builder on us makes sense?

The only reason for optimism is that the page builder devs will have to figure out ways to disable Gutenberg as they move forward.

    Beaver Builder
    Divi
    Elementor

    Go do your stuff.

Hopefully WP will not become a Frankenstein monster of a CMS, only clinging on to life with the help of bolts ons, and hacks
