• I decided to give Themeum’s Qubely plugin a try primarily to see what could be done in the Gutenberg environment. I also want to see if there was any performance benefit vs using a page builder.

I have been pleasantly pleased so far and each build has been very stable on the sites that I’m testing it on. I’ve tended to use page builders on top of WordPress in the past, but I’m hoping a plugin like Qubely will decrease my reliance and simplify the plugin stack. It has tons of tools and allows you to create layouts that would have been pretty cumbersome to create in Gutenberg before. If you’re a current Gutenberg user then this will add a lot of flexibility to your layouts.

Themeum’s support staff has been very courteous and responsive so far. I’d recommend trying out their free plugin first and opt for the pro version if you think the feature set might help your workflow.
