• Hi all

I installed wordpress into https://teamtuxedo.com/tuxforum/ rather than root. I have since decided to make it my home page, but have found no way of running that wp blog in root when it’s installed in /tuxforum. I tried using the admin control that allows specifying the installation directory and the blog directory separately, but changing the blog directory to root displays a long script error message rather than the static page I want displayed from the domain address. The installation works fine when I run it from the url where it was installed. I removed the index.html and welcome.php and replaced them with index.php fromthe install directory. No joy. Running pages in root (or elsewhere) would be a powerful way to use WP, and I really want to do it without having to use a primary domain forward. That’s kind of like killing a fly with a tractor.
