make wordpress version 2.6 work at my server.Total new to wordpress

  • Hello. I am totally new to wordpress but have uploaded version 2.6 downloaded from www.remarpro.com at self-hosted server at https://www.ipower.com
    I need total help to :
    1.Get a new API key.Is it unique for each blog?How to get it?
    2.Being able to add plugins and change themes
    3.Set up the stats
    4.Customize blog

    My server is fully compatible with wordpress requirements but at the dashboard I cannot make any changes.I do not know a thing about php.
    So any adjustments I need to make are highly appreciated.
    My blog is online.Just need to customise it.Plugins or themes do not work!
