make wordpress site live

I have wordpress installed on a server.

so the testing website is https://www.domain.com/wordpress

the live website is https://www.domain.com

When I’m ready how do I make the https://www.domain.com bring up my
https://www.domain.com/wordpress site?

I want the end result to be https://www.domain.com.

Do I need to contact the hosting company to do this? I have access to CP with the host company. I called the host company and the people were not very helpful.
