Have you tried this;

Hi Andrew, I just added your code. It does turn the logo into a link but its just adding the url on top of the current address.

i.e. your browsing https://www.website.com/archives/2012/blahblah it will just take you to https://www.website.com/archives/2012/blahblah#YourLinkHere

What link should it go to instead?

I want it to take the user back to the homepage no matter where they are. so if they are at https://www.website.com/archives/2012/blahblah, it will take them back to https://www.website.com.
