• Hi there,
I’m creating a site locally on my computer using the standard Make theme.
I have created a child theme and I some knowledge of php, html and CSS.
I want to add a site header image above the main site navigation.
I have found the option to add a header image in Customizer > Background Images > Header > Background Image, but it sits behind my site nav / main menu and I want it to sit above.
Wondering if anyone can help with this. Thanks

  • If using the logo isn’t an option, I’d say you’ll need to edit the header partials in your child theme. Recreate the partials folder in the child theme, then copy over header-layout.php or header-layout3.php depending on the header layout you’ve selected in the Customizer. ??

    Good luck!
