Make the numbers go away

I know this is a dumb question, but every time I update Jetpack, the number after the word Jetpack on the sidebar goes up. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make this go away. Clicking on “Jetpack” just takes me to all the features, and if I click on them to configure, it usually just takes me back to the dashboard. How do I make this go away?
