We have chosen to make the CSS file dynamically generated to work better with our client’s image choices, for one. You could always grab the final parsed file and use that as your CSS file, if you want to work with a more static file.

But for that I would have to edit the files of your plugin after every update again and again, right? Because when I am using a parsed CSS file, I no longer need loading the PHP-CSS-file of your plugin.

In my eyes this PHP-thing makes no sense and just means more work for everyone. Why not handle it like all the other plugins out there with a normal css-file which you can also directly use for caching-plugins and minify-purposes?

It’s worth a second look. Thanks for your feedback!

Hello… just curious when the update will be released? Unfortunately I still have to use a not-minified version of the css file. It is the only plugin which uses a PHP-file for css o.O

Like to have a native css-file which can be minified so that less requests are required for the website.

    When will it come?

I am having the exact same issue. This is the only plugin that is showing up on Google PageSpeed Insights as slowing my website down. According to Google this plugin contains a “blocking CSS resource which may be causing a delay in rendering your page”.

I also would like to have “a native css-file which can be minified so that less requests are required for the website.”

Looking forward to your next plugin update…hope to see this change in the release notes ??
