Make Slug 'Issue #', not 'article'

    That’s just how WordPress handles post types and taxonomies. You can probably write your own custom rewrite rules to customize this though.

    This is beyond my ken and not something I’d have thought most IssueM users know how to do. However I have found a plugin called Custom Permalinks which gets round the problem. It’s mildly frustrating that this has to be changed on a per-article basis but it’s a solution all the same.
