I imagine this question has been answered and it just hasn’t been asked the way that I am trying to ask it – because I have found things that seem like they might work but am apprehensive to try them since I’m not sure they are for what I am trying to do.

Here is what I am trying to do:

WordPress is hosted on the CGI server – like cgi.mysite.com.
Since I mostly use WordPress as the main source of my site, I have my site hosted on the CGI server. So if you go to cgi.mysite.com, you’ll get access to my site. However, if you go to https://www.mysite.com – you’ll also get access to my site.

Since I want to use my site as https://www.mysite.com, I would like the addresses for my WordPress pages/links/etc to go to https://www.mysite.com/page whatever.

I can control some of them manually – like the home button on my theme links to page https://www.mysite.com and most of the pages I’ve set up to link to things I use the www version. But if someone clicks say… a recent post on the sidebar it’ll go to https://cgi.mysite.com/?p=2174 or what have you.

So how can I get my WordPress to use the WWW version of links instead of the CGI version?

    Thanks in advance.

    [ No bumping please. ]

Nobody helped but thankfully I just took a stab in the dark and tried something and it worked – was really easy as I suspected, just wanted some reassurance. Oh well.

I just had to change the Site URL.
