Make sidebar widgets inactive on theme install

  • Hi,
    I’m making theme for which I want to make all previously activated widgets inactive upon theme install. Not to remove sidbars or unregister widgets (the latter removes widgets completely), only to clean my new theme sidebars from widgets and make those widgets inactive.

    Any idea ? Thnx…
