Make product name optional

  • Hi there, is there a way to not require the entry of a product name? I want my reviews to be sitewide reviews so a product name is not required but i cant seem to disable it.

    Hi m,

    There is currently no way to not have a product name for a review. The whole review itself and all the display functionalities are tied to the product name (because the review needs to be associated with a product), so it would not be possible to exclude it. If you wanted, you could just make one product and set the “Product Name Input Type” to “Dropdown” so that would be the only product available when people go to submit a review.
