Make Portfolio Category My Home Page on a WordPress Site

I would like to make the homepage of my WordPress site one of my portfolio category pages. How can I go about doing that?

The site currently has an under construction page up, but basically, I would like the home page (https://www.madelinebeard.com/) to load the content that is on the All Clients Portfolio Category page (https://www.madelinebeard.com/portfolio-category/all-clients/).

Is there a way to do this by modifying functions.php or through a plugin? Or, do I need to play around with URLs in .htaccess?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just want to make my home page a page on my site that isn’t categorized by WordPress as a “page.”
