Is there a way I can set to make users’ browsers refresh the page after they log in? Currently, seems like the web cached content is on the user’s computer locally, so some restricted content stays unavailable even if a user is logged in. The restriction will only be unlocked when logged-in users manually refresh the page, which doesn’t seem friendly to users. Is there a way I can set this plugin to do so? Thanks.

    Hi @futandrew

Did you try changing the “Redirection after Login” selected option to “Refresh active page”? Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Forms > Edit a Login Form > see “Options” section.

Thanks for the reply. I would like to refresh the whole site (purge local cache and fetch all data again). The refresh active page you mentioned only applies to the page that redirects users to the login page, not other pages.

    Hi @futandrew

Do you have a caching plugin or server cache enabled? What’s the cache name on your site?

Indeed, I’m using WP-Optimize, as well as the server end CDN @champsupertramp

    Hi @futandrew

Does the restriction work when you disable the cache? I’m not sure if WP-Optimize has a function to trigger the clear cache. So I suggest that you contact the WP-Optimize developer and see if they can provide a function that we can attach to the UM Login form’s action hook.
