Make Message required

  • I would like to make text area for custom message required. I am receiving contact forms messages without message (it makes no sense for my purpose). Furthermore, it is not possible to add a text above the text area for custom message. For example: YOUR MESSAGE.

    Can anyone help me?

    Hello.

    You are right. There isn’t option to make custom message as required field. But you can use your attribute with text type as required.

    Do you mean to create a new text data input and set it as required? In that case, if the same person sends a new message, it will overwrite the information, won’t it?

    Yes, you are right. We will try to improve that in the next release. (add option in order to make custom message required)

    It would be great if you can also add the option to display a label for the message input. For example “Your Message”.
