  • … hum … and why don’t you use the embedded translation tools ?
There is a tab for that in the configuration page : you do not need any extrenal tools to modify the translation

In addition, the text domain is not set because the text domain is a veraible in my plugin… I you try an external tools, you won’t find any sentence to translate ??

Not at all. Makepot find all the i18n strings. It works with the ‘__’ or ‘_e’ whatever is the argument for text domain. Even if it’s a variable or if there is none.

Yes but you can’t add an entry to the list. Therefor I can’t translate there the presentation displayed on DashBoard > Plugins > Installed Plugins…

the arguments for the text domain is $this->pluginID which clearly is a dynamic name … ??

Tell me how you will do it ?? if you indicate this variable in the header of the po file, makedot will find the sentences but wordpress will not understand the link between $this->pluginID and the real value of that string … I have think of that for a very long time … if you find a way tell me.

What do you mean by an entry into the list ?

If I am right, the page installed plugin take is text from the readme.txt which cannot use the __ function
