make long testimonials turn into an excerpt

On my testimonial page I have some that are so long and wordy, but I do not want to change anything that has been said. Is there a way I can longer testimonials be an excerpt and there be a link on the post that says continue reading? (not on the widget sidebar but on the full testimonial page)
