I’ve used a responsive theme myself during the 2014 world cup and the plugin didn’t need that much extra css to make it work in the theme. So, my advice would be to just install the plugin in your theme and overrule some of the standard css with your own rules.

I am not a css expert, so I can’t help you with any specific questions. But the best tip I can give you is to use Chrome and inspect the element you want to adjust. In developer mode you can change the css and if it is OK just paste the altered line(s) in your own css file. Remember to not alter the css that came with the theme or plugin, because on updating either of them, you will lose your changes.

I can’t adjust the plugin to work with every theme out there. They all behave differently, use different fonts, margins, paddings and resolution break points.

    Thank you Antoine !

I saw the element i have to adjust thanks to Chrome (overflow: hidden >>> that cut the predictions forms!)

However, my theme is not great for several reasons… what is the theme you used during the world cup if it’s not a rude question?

    Thank you !

I’ve used the theme “Point” and changed it a bit to better fit my wishes. It has a simple, basic layout.
