Make input field 50% width in one section.

Hello,
How can i make an input field to be just 50% width? I can do this overall to all input area but I want to just alter the size in one are of my size.

On the home page theres a ‘sign up for a newsletter area’ – just looking to make that 50% width and would love to know what code to put in my CSS.
