Make index and blog the same

    I’m sorry if this topic has been discussed before, I’m fairly new to WP and I looked through old forum topics but wasn’t sure what to do.

    My website is:

    https://needinputblog.com

    When you go to the above link, it only shows blog posts as snippets, not full posts, and doesn’t display the photos.

    I want to make it look the same as: https://needinputblog.com/home.

    Right now, I have the front page set to display the latest posts. I had it as a static page before, and it worked correctly, except then the Older Entries link wouldn’t work (the URL would say page 2, 3 etc. but it would display the same posts as page 1).

    Does this make sense? I’d really appreciate anyone’s help.

  • Your theme’s index.php template file may be using <?php the_excerpt();?> instead of <?php the_content();?> in its template files. Try editing index.php in your theme and replacing <?php the_excerpt();?> with <?php the_content();?>.
