Make image title optional?

    Hi –

    I use image titles for some images in my galleries (with lightbox), but I want to be able to leave some as untitled, or rather, blank. WordPress requires the title field by default and won’t accept a blank title when uploading or editing an image. There are plugins to remove the title field entirely after the fact, but that won’t work for my purposes since I do have some images with titles.

    Can anyone think of a way to do this?
