Make homepage similar to the demo

  • I know to make the homepage static and create pages but I cannot figure out how to have specific posts featured on my home page

    Those three featured pages on the demo are actually just text widgets placed in the three Front Page Widget Areas. See here:

    Hi, same question: I’m trying to make my homepage site similar to Sela demo, and I’ve read the thread you linked; but I’m not sure of every single step. Shall I create a static homepage? And after that?

    Yes, and then assign that page to the Front Page template. Once you do that you can start adding widgets to the theme’s Front Page widget areas.

    On self-hosted sites, the Jetpack plugin’s Custom Content Types module will give you access to the Site Logo and Testimonials, if you’d like to use them.
