• I have been working on this for days, none of the codes I’ve found in the forums have worked so far when I previewed them in the css style sheet.
    I bought a custom theme, but I want to make the header larger than the recommended restrictions (1000x120px)
    My stylesheet looks like this:
    .header-image .site-title a {
    float: left;
    min-height: 600px;
    width: 100%;
    It was originally a smaller min-height, I changed it to 600px but it made no difference in the height of my header. I did manage to make my logo slightly larger, but I think that was just from changing the jpeg size. My site is bumblebeesandthemoon.com
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Maybe you need to clear your cache , your header height is already 600px
    here how it looks on my screen https://i.gyazo.com/7c52de2db68616e353558f93bc9b9170.png

    Your header logo image actual size is 486px X 400px. Try to put a bigger resolution one.Perhaps 800px X 400px.

    Thank you both! I tried a larger image earlier, but it just wasn’t showing up. I’ll try clearing my cache and changing the size.

    Hmm I cleared my cache and no luck! It still appears very small.
    And Emdad, I was using a larger image before and it didn’t increase the size.

    For some reason, hours later, it is going back and forth between appearing larger and smaller. ??

    Clearly this is my own computer’s formatting issue. Thank you for your help. I am also trying to figure out how to reduce some of the extra white space above and below it, now that it is a larger size. Would that be a padding issue? Thanks.
