• I’m an absolute beginner. I hope someone can help. I’m using Firmness theme and have created a front page with an image slider. I want this to appear in the navigation as HOME so it can be selected and returned to. Is there a way to do this?

  • Under Settings -> Reading there are options for controlling what your front/home page displays.

Thanks Marios I’ve explored that avenue.

In Reading Settings I can either choose front page displays ‘Your latest posts’ which allows me to keep the image slider I have made but leaves the page unlisted or ‘A static front page’ which can’t display the image slider but does label the page as HOME.

I need a way to make the front page with the image slider display on the menu as HOME so that people can return to it from other parts of the site.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi,

You should be able to place the slider on a page only if the theme supports it (like, via a short-code). Else, you might want to check out some plugins for this feature.
