Make firewall block some areas?

  • I want my website https://www.runnersandriders.net to work through a very strick firewall. By strict i mean any action that involve uploading data should be blocked. So say submitting a comment would be blocked. Logging in would be blocked.

    At present the whole website is blocked as the firewall team say they cannot isolate the parts of the site they need to. Ive been told they cannot block individual files but directories.

    My question is how easy is it for me to put the comments file (wp-comments-post.php) into a directory is this going to be a major undertaking to update all the other files, anyone give me some guidance? Bear in mind i still want this aspect of the site to work for normal people.

    to put it more simply, how do u i put wp-comments-post.php into a directory like /comments/ and still allow comments to be posted?
