Make field required Depending on Condition – Not Working with Groups

When trying to “Make field required Depending on Condition” and choosing a question field outside of the “Group”, it shows the question, but does not allow selecting the answer because the answer options are not populated.

This should display the “Rent Questions” of which I want to make this section (group/questions) required based on if the “Do you” questions is answered with “Rent”.
