Make excerpt ignore images

    Hi,

    Thank you for a great plugin! I have been looking for a way to make the excerpt ignore any image that is inserted to the post. I currently use show_image to display the featured image, which works well. But I would not like to display any additional images that are manually inserted in the top of the post (only the text).

    Unfortunately, the only way I can think of to really accomplish that is to strip the HTML from the excerpt/content (using the strip_html attribute within the shortcode).

    Thank you for your answer Curtiss, I moved on to another plugin called “Display Posts Shortcode” that fulfilled my requirements and offered more functionality. Anyone having problem with PCS I would recommend to try that one out.
