Thank you for this robust plugin! I have been searching for days and hope this one will be the one.

My goal is to create and item with a portion of the cost being a donation for a fundraiser. For example, $5 of your $20 purchase will support this charitable organization.

Is this possible with this plugin? I searched the knowledge base and this forum and the closest I could find was to create Linked Products (upsells/cross sells) but that didn’t work.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hi baxsie,

    thanks for reaching out.
This is not a feature directly supported by Donation Platform for WooCommerce. But you can use a plugin like WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce to bundle a normal product with a donation product.

    Best,
    Jonas

PS: If you’ve found Donation Platform for WooCommerce helpful and would like to support its continued growth and development, I’d truly appreciate it if you could leave a 5-star rating on www.remarpro.com. Thank you so much!

wow thank you for the fast response.

I figured out something similar (after I posted) using Woocommerce Custom Product Addons and it works, but is a bit clunky on the user interface. I will check out WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce to see if that gets me closer to the goal.

Thanks again – this is an awesome plugin. I will leave a review too.

    Hello Jonas-

I installed WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce.

Going with my example: $5 of your $20 purchase will support this charitable organization

I want to make my donation product at $5 (includes the shortcode for Donation Platform for WC), as the main item. I want to bundle a base cost item ($15) with the donation item for a total of $20.

I have check the “Allow more than one product in cart” in Donation Platform settings, but I am getting this error: “Only one donation form per page allowed” on my main $5 item page (the bundled product of $15 does not appear).

Did I miss something in the settings or should the base item be reversed? I hope this makes sense.

    Thank you!

    Hi Janet,

Ensure that only the donation product with a base price of $5 is marked as a donation product. Do not mark bundled products as donation products.
