Make discount based on “original price”, not the “sale price”

  • Hello,

    I have a user role = “wholesale”, and for this role, I have created a discount of 25% via your discount plugin (and from the dropdown, I have selected “percentage off product price”), for a specific product list.

    However, in this product list, most of the products already have a SALE PRICE. For example, they have 15% discount.

    The plugin now calculates for the “wholesale” role… 15% discount + an additional 25% discount instead of only 25% from the start price.

    Can this be corrected or is this available in the PRO version?

    I’m sorry about the current situation of things.
    If I understand you correctly, the discount for the “wholesale” user role is being applied on the sale price but you’d rather have it applied on the regular price. Is that correct?

    Apparently, we have a lot of queries related to this feature and we are planning on adding this feature request to the next plugin update. This will allow you to specify whether the discounts should be calculated on the sales price or on the regular price.
