    Hi there

    Two part question

    1. I have a dev site. I want to make sure it can’t be crawled but I do want to install the SEO Framework and get all of the SEO ready. Please advise. I couldn’t find anything in the forum, but maybe don’t know the correct search terms.

    2. My site has a lot of events (The Events Calendar). Are there any special SEO settings for event-based sites?

    Thanks much

    Hello!

    1. Go to /wp-admin/options-reading.php and check “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”. It is a default WordPress setting, and TSF detects and warns you via its interface when it’s enabled.

    2. Nope. Events Calendar outputs Event markupright out of the gate“, which is compatible with TSF.

I hope this helps ?? Good luck with your site!

Thanks. I do have that turned on, but I was reading Yoast, and they make it sound much more complicated. So I was surprised that there was no info on your documentation that was similar.

    Appreciate the answer.

Often, a single sentence will do. Yet, they stuff the web with needless data to rank well, much like most of our SEO peers.

The truth is simple. If it was complicated, everyone would understand it. – Walt Whitman
