Make desciption phone nr clickable

  • Hi

    I’m helping a friend with her website and in the description i have used her phone number.

    On Android it works and you can out of the box click it and call her. But on iPhone it won’t, be course Apple wants the number separated into 2’s; 11 22 33 44. But when doing that, Android will not see it as a phone number. It wants; 11223344.

    I tried installing a plugin i found, but it didn’t work.

    How can i make it clickable on both iPhone and Android at the same time ?

  • Have you tried wrapping the phone number (formatted however you want) in an <a> tag with tel: as the href?

    Like:

    <a href="tel:11223344">11 22 3344</a>
