    Hi again,
how can I reverse the options in that I do wish to be connected as plugin, but I need not to post to facebook every time. So is it possible and how could have “unchecked” the “Post to facebook” when the product is edited and updated?
    Thanks in advance
    Dim.

    Hi,

If you mean not to post on every update, you can unselect the option from plugin options.
For every post, there will be option near publish/update button area where its showing connected as:
You can check/uncheck option to post.

Thank you for your quick response. I tried what you say :
    -first connected with the fb
-onto settings I changed the first flag to unchecked ‘Post to Facebook every time on product update?’
-then I fully reloaded the product page ( Ctrl+f5 ), but as I see now “Connected” (that is ok), and next to the ‘Post to facebook’ again the checkmark.
    now…
would that mean that the settings modification do not work ?
    the version is 1.5.4

You have done right. Now if you update any product, it will not post to Facebook. And if you create a new product, it will be posted first time but not on next update.

The checkbox near update button is specific for that post. If you don’t want to post newly published product or even don’t want to post any product on update (even you selected the first option from plugin options), it will not post to Facebook.

Note: If a product not posted to Facebook by this plugin, it will be considered as new. Select individual checkbox near publish area if you don’t want to post it.

Feel free to ask any further question.

Thank you for the clarification and thank you for the immediate response. I will test it again as soon as this reauthorization issue somehow is bypassed.
