• Hi,

I want a two column layout where the left column background colour fills the entire screen, and likewise the right column (but using an image background).

I have created a section and given it a height of “Fit to screen”.

However, when I add content the backgrounds do not fill the vertical space, they are only the height of the widgets… this is an issue.

Please see a very rough photoshop mockup of the result I am looking for here:

    Thanks very much!

  • Just below your section’s min-height should be a column position drop-down of which you would choose “stretch”.

This still requires at least one widget within each column to render the background.

To apply a background image to your second column and if you want it to cover the entire column edge to edge, place a spacer widget inside the empty column and give it any height value that doesn’t interfere with anything, even 1px is fine.

Then go set your column’s background image to your desired image and set the size to cover and repeat to no-repeat.
