• I have a “pinterest” style theme. However, when viewing a category/archive page, the posts are no longer in “pinterest” style, but rather a boring vertical list of posts. I want it to look just like the front page style, but limited to posts from that category.

I tried editing archive.php to look like index.php, but that didn’t change anything. I looked in functions.php, but again, didn’t see what I was looking for.

Which file(s) determines the layout of archive pages if it isn’t archive.php?

  • You could try make a copy of index.php and name it archive.php.

Also, it would be helpful if you post a link to your site.

    Good Luck

The site is not up on a server yet – just on my computer for now.

I just tried your suggestion, but there was no difference. I’m using the “Destin Basic” theme, but I tried similar things with other themes.

Any other locations where layout might be stored?

    Thanks!

It might be category.php … Or style.css or some other stylesheet.

You could post your index.php, archive.php, category.php and css stylesheet on pastebin.com … and then post the pastebin links here

I looked into those (there isn’t a category.php), and I think it must be the css because there is a lot of dynamic pin stuff in there. I’ll poke around tomorrow. Thank you for your help!
