Make 'Attach Resume' feature optional

    I have downloaded/installed the Simple Job Board plugin; it’s been so helpful so far…I appreciate it!

    I do have a small problem, though; my client would like the Attach Resume feature to be optional. I have tweaked the source code by making some changes to the IF statements in the javascript. I have been able to get the application to submit without a file attachment, but it never updates the “Submitting….” notice to indicate the success message. I have confirmed that the submission was a success, however; the email confirmation is received, and the application is visible under “Applicants”.

    Can you give me some insight into this? Is there perhaps an easier way to make the resume attachment optional, that will not inhibit the success message from showing?

    i fixed everything you said,but do not see any change?

    why can’t this be an option in the settings?

    if the form fields are all that is required for a job, wouldn’t it be easier to make this an optional field e.g allow file upload as a type in settings, so you can choose to add it or not?

    surely this would easier, otherwise hard coded edits get overwritten.

    We have few releases in pipeline including “Resume Management” premium add-on. But its release date is not finalized yet. Hopefully will release soon.
