• Hi, I have a post carousel set up, and when a post thumbnail or post text is clicked, I want a specified page to open, rather than the source post.

I have second carousel in same website using the same theme that I don’t want to behave this way, or would like to link to a different specified page.

    How can I achieve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, you can customize the template you’re using and loading that from your theme.

    Please follow this

    https://webcodingplace.com/responsive-posts-carousel-override-post-templates/

After loading it from your theme, you can replace the anchor tag to a specific page where you want to redirect the user.

Hi – won’t that make both carousels link to the same page?
I have two carousels using same theme, each one needing to link to a different page from the other.

Yeah, you’re right. I will consider it and your other mentioned issues in the next release soon.

Awesome – will watch with interest. Something else I would love to add to the wishlist is the ability to nominate an absolute height for both images and text display – so that I could ensure they exactly match each other visually. Also an ability to drag images around within the frame to best position them (eg so heads of people don’t get cropped).
