Make all images link to post they are inserted into automatically?

  • Hi,

    Instead of images in a post linking directly to the image, is it possible for them to automatically all link to the posts URL / permalink?

    I know I can do this manually, but I have many images in a post and it would save it a lot of time if this could happen automatically?

    So you want an image that’s on a page link to the page you’re already on?

    Hi Matt,

    Well I am not using pages, it’s posts. Also there are multiple images and yes to link to the post the images have been inserted to.

    Any ideas?

    So what is the point of having an image link to the post you’re already reading?

    I want to run some tests on bounce rate being affected by image link clicks.

    If not possible… is there a way to stop all links being added to images?
