Is there a way to make accept terms and conditions field in the registration form required? We need to force users to accept the terms and conditions before they can submit their application because of the nature of the products, but I can’t see a way to do it via settings.

    Can you please help?

    Hi,

Check to make sure the following feature is not activated
    Automatically approve a new affiliate
. This is located under Affiliates -> Settings -> General settings tab.

    Kind regards.

Thank you so much for your quick reply!!

It’s definitely disabled, they want to approve affiliates manually.

The problem is that there were ones who didn’t click to agree the terms and conditions because it’s not a required field yet, but I can’t seem to find any settings relating to this to make the field required.

    Hi,

The problem is that there were ones who didn’t click to agree the terms and conditions because it’s not a required field yet, but I can’t seem to find any settings relating to this to make the field required.

The checkbox is required by default if the following feature is enabled Show Terms and Conditions and the following feature is disabled Automatically approve a new affiliate. There might be a conflict in your site with a plugin or theme. Please carry out the following troubleshooting steps.

Once you complete the above steps, make sure you enable debug log feature and carry out a registration process. Report back with any findings.

    Thank you.

Thank you for explaining that to me. It was actually as simple as ticking off the “automatic approval” checkbox in the settings, saving, and unchecking it again. It’s working now, so I assume it was just some sort of glitch.

Thanks again for being so quick and helpful!
