It sounds like you want to make that post a “sticky.”

How do I make a post a Sticky.
This is exactly what I want to do.

When writing or editing a post, you can make it a sticky post via the Visibility section in the Publish box to the right.

How Stupid can I get.
I was clicking the Schedule link and not the Visibility link. I was convinced my blog just didn’t have it ??
