• I have organizied all my users by user role. And now I want to send an email to all users with role “admin” and then I want to send a mail to all “subscribers”. Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Alex

    Hello alex,

If you have two user lists (one for admin and one for subscribers), you can go to the EMAILS tab in the plugin admin, then select the email template designed for the specific user list (e.g. admin), then select the specific user list (e.g. admin) in the dropdown on the right hand side (in the “Send Email” metabox) and click on “Email User List”.

The plugin does not automatically create lists based on user role. But you could easily create these two lists yourself in our plugin and then use the aforementioned steps to send them separate emails.

    Hey jay,
thank you, but this is not what I’m looking for. I have over 500 users and 5 “Groups” (custom user roles).
Now I don’t want sort all users again into the plugins lists. I want to send to the existing userrole… I hope you understand, because my english is not the best.

    Thanks,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Your request was indeed clear in your first message. It’s just not possible with our plugin. That’s why I offered the workaround solution.

We can note down the functionality you mentioned as a feature request, and, should we get more demand for something like this in the future, we can look into the possibility of implementing it.
