Make a “follow this blog” text link

Back in the day there was a follow this blog button on my site. I still have followers but realised I have not had new followers in a long time. At this point I realised there’s no obvious way to follow the blog.

I could add a follow button, but I’d much rather make at link in my footer says “Follow this blog” or words to that effect. If I do, what code do I need behind the text? I’ve not been able to find this in the documentation, but I’m probably searching for the wrong terms.
