major slowdown

That would highly depend on the amount of sidebars that are being replaced on your site.

Can you please let me know how many sidebars do you have and where are sidebars being replaced on your site?

I am experiencing the same thing. Major slowdown on my site and this plugin seems to be the main culprit. I am using the plugin to replace the sidebar in each category on my websites (between 100-300 sidebars) is there anyway to increase the speed with this many replacements?

That’s a lot of sidebars and it explains why why yous site is slow. Do you have any kind of caching setup on your site?
