• Hey, I recently forgot my password by accident for WordPress, and when I click on the “Forgot Password” option, it won’t even e-mail me the link to reset my password. It always says that a confirmation e-mail has been sent, but I have never gotten one of those. So, am I screwed? Do I have to start my site ALL over again, or is there a way to fix this?

  • Use phpMyAdmin, in users, edit the field for the admin, type a new password. At left select the MD5 option for the type of data, and save.

Now you can enter with the new password.

Where is the field for the admin? The only field’s there are:
    ID
    user_login
    user_pass
    user_nicename
    user_email
    user_url
    user_registered
    user_activation_key
    user_status
    user_status
    display_name

Is the admin field within any of those?
