Major oops problem

Hi,

I suggest making a new form for the same list with just Fname, Lname and Email (make sure no other fields are set to be required in MailChimp under the list settings.

If that form does work, add the phone number field, test again.

If that works, move on to the next merge field, until the problem occurs.

Please let us know the results of your test.

For more help, please include a screenshot of your form builder and of the list of fields from MailChimp.com list settings.

I’m having the exact same problem. Sometimes it works, most of the times it doesn’t. On mobile it never does. The error shown is:

ERROR: Form 60 > MailChimp API error: 400 Bad Request. Your merge fields were invalid.
- NOME: Please enter a value
- SOBRENOME: Please enter a value
- ESTADO: Please enter a value
- CIDADE: Please enter a value

I checked the steps on the Knowledge Base regarding the oops problem, but couldn’t find out what was wrong. Tried to create a form just from the plugin’s “insert field” buttons, and also copying an entire html embbed generated by Mailchimp. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin to get the original plugin’s html build for the form, but it saves whatever I had in the form builder on the previous installation.

Actually the first thing I did was open up a new form and start over, didn’t work.
Did the steps as you suggested.

FNAME LNAME MMERGE3 MMERGE4 somehow dont get values, it works 60/40 from chrome when I am logged in (so I guess thats not a good sign), from mobile it never works there’s always an OOPS and the log points out to the error I wrote ^.

I am sure the list is OK. I tried everything without required tag and updated it in mail-chimp list as well, without required fields it actually works but all the fields that aren’t required stay blank when user subscribes which makes it useless.

almost similar builder and list, Super annoying .

what is your hosting service? mine is go-daddy .
