• Hello,

I posted a thread yesterday about the issue I am having after I just completed the new WordPress upgrade.

I followed the directions to complete the upgrade from the DOCS page, everything went smoothly until I visited my website (wwww.blogstodiefor.com).

All the photos I uploaded to use in my posts are not showing up. Instead the photo appears with a red X mark in the upper left hand corner. When I visit my “Media Gallery” all my photos are there, but again with a red X mark.

I’m wondering if after I upload photos to use on my site, if I have to upload the photos to my root folder, or add the pictures into one of the folders I added to my host upon the upgrade.

If someone can help that would be great!

Does anyone know if after you upload an image to use in your posts, you have to do any additional saving of the photo or uploading to root folders??????

I’m really trying to work this matter out but I am still stuck. For some reason, the specicifications of each photo have been lost or overwritten and now the image is unavailable for viewing.

Also, is there anyway to return to my previous 2.5 version of WordPress so correct this issue?

I can’t imagine that I am left to go through 200 posts and upload all the images again.

    Please help!
