• I use nginx. I was working at 50X with the special rewrite rules as outlined in your documentation.

I was running like this flawlessly since 4 months. Everything cool!

This morning I had 503 error on all site. The only way to recover was to mv the wordfence plugin directory under wordfence.bak. Then I was able to get back in business and restore my site.

Is there any way for me to help you out diagnose this situation? What do you want from me? I really like Wordfence and I want it to be stable and steady for everybody!

  • Since everything was running fine for months, did something change recently? Did you upgrade WordPress, plugins, etc? What versions of everything are you running? Do you have logging enabled for WordPress? If we have some more information we can delve into the issue deeper.

    Thanks!

I don’t know what happened. In terms of loggin, I did not change the default of WordPress. I am back with regular caching (3x) for now.

Should you want me to investigate (I have access to the whole loggin environment) or send you additionnal data I would be glad to do so.
