maintenance mode settings not applied

I have installed the ‘DP Maintenance mode Lite’ Plugin and I have changed all the general and style etc settings. When I sign out and view the website as the public it just shows a boring grey maintenance mode page. It has done this with all the other maintenance mode plugins. I have the Premium Virtue theme template and was wondering if that caused the plugin not to work? https://www.abzdesigns.com
