Maintenance mode not disabled after plugins update

  • Hello,

    All my 4.4 sites are experiencing the same problem.

    The maintenance mode is NOT disabled after a plugin or theme update.

    e.g.

    Enabling Maintenance mode…
Updating Plugin WPtouch Mobile Plugin (1/1)
WPtouch Mobile Plugin updated successfully. Show Details
All updates have been completed.

    So, I have to manually remove the ~/.maintenance file.

    Can WordPress version 4.4.1 please fix this?
