• Each time I upgrade a plugin the website gets stuck in maintenance mode for like 10 mins or something less than that.
After that time has passed site gets back online.
During this period of time there is no .maintenance file in the root folder.

I inherited this website from other people who developed it before me, there’s a lot of stuff to update and if after each update the website gets in maint mode for 10 mins it’s gonna take me until next year to get everything up to date! xD

I’m sure there’s gotta be a flag somewhere to turn off this automatic maint mode after each upgrade, can anybody help me find it and turning it off?
    Thanks!

  • You know, there are couple of plugins something like “automatic maintenance”.
You probably check it already, but perhaps one of yours plugin enables maintenance mode?

Nope checked for that already and no luck.
There’s a plethora of other plugins though, only 34 active, maybe some of those plugins has the additional function of also creating an automatic maint after each upgrade, like you suggested.
I’ll give it a closer look.

On a hunch I feel it’s a general wordpress setting somewhere in some wordpress config file, but I could be wrong of course.
